"Ive just had my swing analysed and I now have the right shaft / loft combination (9.5 stiff). Even with a stiff shaft you can feel the ball spring off the face of this club and it seems to fly further and straighter than any other driver I have owned to date. My previous driver was a mizuno 560, which was good but not a nice to hit as this club. The R7 sits really nicely behind the ball and inspires confidence and the Matrix XCon shaft is incredible. Somehow it manages to feel soft and flexible when you hit the ball, but the head of the club feels totally in control. Give it a go you wont be dissapointed."

Pros: very long., great looks, reasonable price
Cons: maybe not the most forgiving club if your a 20+ ha
"I purchased this driver about 1 month ago and am already hitting it 25 yards further than my old TaylorMade R5 Draw driver which id had and used well for 3 years previously.
The ball takes off from the driver like a rocket and pierces through the air. I also get more roll on the ball with this one which is helpful as my drives tend to go high then plug when they come down...
The clubhead looks a much smaller than the other new drivers out at the moment but bizarely this gives you more confidence as you can swing this faster and generate more clubhead speed.
If you got a fast clubhead speed then go for the stiffer shaft. This will reduce the chance of an unwanted slice which you could get with a more flexi shaft.
It looks quality also!!"
