Best Driver Ever
Date:May 18, 2010
"After 3 weeks with this driver i cut my handicap to 10 from 20. This is the best driver i have ever hit and it is the most forgiving yet. No taylormade has changed my mind (yet). It is a lot cheaper now so for those high handicapers this would be a good purchase and would slash those scores."

Best purchase ever
Date:October 18, 2009
Pros: terrific value
Cons: head cover not great
"This is without doubt the best driver i have ever had, I bought this driver about 4 weeks ago and since then my scoring has improved dramatically. I am hitting the ball approx 10 - 15 yards further than my last driver Mizuno MX 950, but more importantly i am hiitting more fairways. I can not believe how forgiving this club is, if you make a decent swing it will go long and straight. On average I am hitting this around 260 yards."

Pros: good price, excellent and easy to use, sounds good
Cons: none
"just bought this club and literally from my first tee shot was hitting the fairway with excellent distance and it makes a good sound too! also on the final hole hit a 260 yard tee shot within 10 feet of the pin on a hole i wouldnt of dreamed of trying with my last driver,it gives you alot of confidence to try different shots!! would really recommend this club to anyone, bought mine with the stiff shaft and have no complaints at all!!"

Forgiving
Date:September 1, 2009
Pros: forgiving, easy to get set up square
Cons: didn't add 50 yards to my drive!
"I bought this club to give a lift to my tired old muscle and found the club to give a consistent strike which flew high and very straight. It didn't get rid of my fade but it was predictable. Must learn to swing a bit easier."

GRRREEEAAAAATTTT!!!
Date:July 27, 2009
Pros: distance, straight, looks great!
"After reading other reviews I decided that for the money this would be a good choice of driver for a beginner and I was right! Where as before I was driving 200-230 but with a slice at times, with the SQ i''m averaging around 270 and straight 9 times out of 10! This Club has given me great confidence more than anything and would recommend to anyone with a high handicap."

Best Driver Ive Had!
Date:July 16, 2009
Pros: good all round
Cons: none
"Ive had a number of drivers in my time and only really got on with a Ben Sayers one sometimes so I thought Id buy a Nike 5000 13 degree driver and it has vastly improved my driving. Alot more go straight and further than usual. I would like to hit it further still (wouldnt we all) but I guess you would have to go for a lower loft for that. Some reviews slate the headvover - I dont think theres anything wrong with it! Good club Nike."

Pros: goes straight great forgiveness, nice sound
Cons: headcover is a bit didgy
"I have just recently purchased this club and have to admit it the best money I have ever spent!! After selling my prestigious driver I had for a good few years I have never been able to find the right driver, I have basically been through a good 6 to 7 drivers and gave up only using my 4 iron off the tee until i found this baby and my god does it do wonders for your game and you have to believe the hype this is the best driver on the market by a country mile!!"

Pros: price
Cons: distance accuracy sluggishness
"I used to drive 240-250 meter with my Cleveland and I thought that Sumo 5000 could improve some accuracy and fairway hits. But no way. With Sumo I can drive only 200-220 with enormous slice. I'll definitely go back to my old Cleveland."

Surprisingly brilliant!!
Date:April 21, 2009
Pros: price, quality, distance
"I tried the 5900 square driver before this 5000 and never got on with it. I think this was more down to its looks than anything else. Needless to say, I wasn't expecting too much from this, but boy was I in for a shock. To sum it up in one word; superb! I've got the 11.5 degree with a Proforce V2 in stiff flex. It goes like a rocket and when you catch one absolutely flush, the feel and distance is better than anything else I've tried."

Give it more thought!
Date:April 20, 2009
Pros: its cheap
Cons: its a waste of money
"I bought this driver anticipating much straighter, longer dives. I was sadly dissapointed.
I took it up to the range three or four times to get a feel for it, but never really hit anything that well with it.
I took the plunge and ditched my Callaway 460 X. Not a good idea. Didnt hit one straight (or long) drive in 3 rounds. Im not a GREAT golfer, but im not bad. However, using the SQ made me feel like I was back at 28 handicap.
I lent it to my Grandad (a 10 handicapper in his day) and he hated it. I also gave a lend to my brother (14 handicapper) and he also cant hit it.
So far, 3 golfersin my family have had no luck with it. So much so that I now believe that it is not an unlucky driver, but rather a bad driver.
I genuienly dont understand how so many people like it!
Not a patch on the Callaway 460 X
