"I always struggled hitting long irons off the fairway or out of rough but the Baffler has sorted all that, reaching par 5's in two is a real possibility now. Great club, would definitely recomend it!"

Pros: so easy to strike even with the 16 degrees, great penetrating ball flight, great price
"I was stuck for a club between my Srixon 3 wood & 19 degrees Srixon hybrid and took a chance on the 16 degree baffler. Baffled i certainly wasn't, generally very straight but if anything a slight draw which i love. Equally great off the tee, fairway or semi rough and i am carrying it around the 220 - 230 yard mark. Stunning hybrid"

Pros: no slicing, excellent looking, very forgiving

"i have just started playing in the last year and this is the first real club i have bought. i need a club somewhere between a driver and a high iron. this club is excellent, i had a problem with slicing it to the right that this club is helping me keep a straight line. very good buy"

"being a high handicap player(21) i needed a club to be comfortable with as im not confident with long irons yet. this gives me a shot at the greens from around the 200 yard mark where as before i would lay up and chip on. very easy club to use off the tee or light rough, definately reccomend anyone to buy one"

"Very nice club, I already owned a rescue wood but decided to upgrade as I was using the club so many times, off the tee, off the fairway and in the rough.
Always had a problem with slicing but this club is very forgiving and gives me enough control to hit the ball with confidence
If you don't have a rescue wood in your bag this is a must purchase and if your game is improving and you fancy an upgrade as a treat i can recommend this club"

Powerful confidence boosting club

Pros: long, confidence inspiring head, good quality shaft and grip
"Looking for a club to fill the gap between my 3 wood - 230 yrds and my 3 iron 190 this looked a good bet (at a great price). As an 18 handicapper a 2 iron would have been a bit of a handful, but the large forgiving head on this Baffler provides much sought after forgiveness. After 2 rounds I am really impressed. Bought mainly for use from the tee it performs admirably on long par 3's with a carry of 200 yards and because of the high ball flight stops more readily than any 2 iron ever would. Being a 2 iron replacement the shaft is still long, hence you need an accurate strike to reap the rewardss, but that's to be expected no?
All in all a great club and one that I'd heartily recommend."

Worth while spending £80 on this!

"Like a previous review i had a taylor made mid rescue hybrid and unlike the review i hit it very consistant, it always went straight down the fairway, but i felt it lacked workability and distance, I tried this Cobra DWS-08 hybrid and just sitting it behind the ball made me feel confident, the first shot with it went straight, got a much better ball flight and distance, i had about 10 shots on the range and then i baught it. I went on the course and hit it off every tee to test it out, it was straight every single time and about 230-240 yards, (with 20 degree hybrid) I am able to draw and fade the ball without any problem what so ever and in any lie. I also tried the ping g10 hybrid and this Cobra DWS-08 was further and had a better ball flight. If you are looking for a hybrid this is the one to go for!!!"

"i purchased this as i decided to replace my old hybrid, a taylormade rescue mid and i am extremely pleased. i hit my old rescue around 210 yards on a good strike but it was inconsistent and unforgiving, this cobra baffler provides a further 20 yards AND is extremely forgiving, nearly every shot is nailed down the middle. in a month this has helped me get down from 22 to 16. this isnt for a low handicapper or a high handicapper , this is for everyone!"

"I've got cobra FP irons and delighted with the way my game has changed. Hitting th ball longer and straighter but recently the 3 iron has being playing up, with me never seeming to get the line i wanted. So decided to go for the baffler, 20 deg loft which is brill! playing like my old 3 iron but getting more distance and going straight where i want it. Especially of the tees and the narrow fairways. the forgiveness of the club plays a part but you feel like your game is getting better, either off the tee or middle of the fairway you can make the pars you want. Last week i messed up my drive prob goin 120 yards max, then decided to get the brand new, never bin used baffler out of my bag. Perhaps the shot was in anger from the previous drive, but it didn't need to be. hit the baffler 220 yards on green, two putt, Par!! Enough said! Get it!"

"i went to a Cobra demo day at my local course and the 1st club i picked up was the baffler 08. I was impressed from the start, the club is lightweight and easy to control and feels great on contact with the ball, i hit this club 20 yards further than my other utility and that has made a massive difference to my game. long irons are becoming a thing of the past and if you are looking to shelve your long irons for a utility tthen the baffler is the way to go. 100% thumbs up from me"

"Bought 2 of the new DWS hybrids to compliment my older 21 degree club. I decided to use them instead of fairway woods, as I was starting to get to erratic with them. Still not as consistent as the older club, but the 18 degree has certainly given me the distance I was looking for. Just working on the shorter one now to try and get some consist accuracy with it. The feel of the clubs however is very good and when you get it right they really fly"
