"Proir to purchasing This driver, i owned i cleveland Hi-Bore XL Gold, 9.5 degree and stiff shaft. I found that i was getting a low ball flight and alot of roll, average drive is about 275 yards. I thought i needed something that would give me a better ball flight but around the same length off the tee. At First it took some getting used to, after a few holes a got comfortable with the burner, 10.5 stiff. My ball flight is just how i want it, a very nice penatrating flight and very consistant. I can just about carry the distance i was hitting before but with alot less roll because of the better trajectory. So i am still hitting around the same length but i am able to do alot more with my tee shots now, for example can draw and fade the ball with more control because i have a better ball flight. Did try other clubs before purchasing this and the Ping G10 and Taylor Made R7 Superquad gave me similar results to the Burner has, Very happy This club and Great value for money"

"I tested this driver out as i'm not the greatest at Driving off the tee. I was told this is extremely forgiving i've tried so many but this really is forgiving i was hitting the ball far and straight beating my friends who play a better handicap than i. Even my friends had a go and praised it. I highly recommend this driver its the best and has cut my shots to the green massively"

"i went to the range today to test out some drivers to buy. i am at the moment a 20 handicap and 13 years old. i tryed the ping g10, cleveland hibore, tour burner, r7 cgb, hyper x, nanospeed and the burner. the burner came out best, just ahead of the cgb. the burner though, is much better value for money. great club. i would also reccomend the wilson Di7's as i had a hit with those and they were amazing. these also are great value"

"Frankly, this is the best driver I have ever purchased. I trialled the 10.5 degree for a round and fell in love with the club immediately, although I realised that a 9.5 was more suitable to my game. I have since found the difference in ball trajectory between the two lofts minimal, but the distance in length is significant. Also a fairly forgiving club when it doesn't go right. For me, having tried out the majority of other top brands recently - this is the best. It's obviously been succeeded by a new TM, but this is the daddy in my book."

"Excellent club! This club provides loads of confidence when standing over the ball, and with its high ball flight it often feels like the ball isnt going to come back down. The head shape is pleasing to the eye and is also a good size. If you lack confidence on the tee, then this could be the club for you."

"Coming from st andrews i have a good knowledge of all the drivers that go around and i can tell you the burner has a great input I bought one recently and find it the best driver taylormade have come up with, and i have tried them all. living in st andrews is like living in a big sweetie shop you can try them all and go back for more and more and more and at last i have found the one for me Taylormade Burner 50 gram shaft (perfect)"
